Course Overview

This MBA programme is carefully designed to offer in depth knowledge to aspiring business professionals that have a clear interest in and passion for Business, Enterprise and Entrepreneurship.  You will learn to think differently to your colleagues; to think laterally and challenge convention, offering knowledge based solutions to business issues. This pathway consists of two stages:

• Stage 1: the EduQual Level 11 Diploma in Business Management and

• Stage 2: the University of Northampton MBA (Top-Up).

Successful completion of the Stage 1 Diploma will enable direct entry onto the Stage 2 Top-Up programme.

Entry Requirements

For entry onto the Stage 1 Diploma applicants will typically posses:

• A UK Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent and two years managerial work experience OR; 

• At least five years managerial work experience (evaluated on an individual basis) AND;

• A good command of English (equivalent to IELTS 6.5 or above)

For direct entry onto the Stage 2 Diploma applicants will typically posses:

​

• The EduQual Level 11 Diploma in Business Management OR; 

• Edexcel Extended Diploma in Strategy Management OR;

• Association of Business Executives (ABE) Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management OR;

• NCC Education Postgraduate Diploma in Business Management OR;

• ATHE Diploma in Strategic Management OR;

• An equivalent Postgraduate Diploma in a related discipline AND;

• A good command of English (equivalent to IELTS 6.5 or above)

Applicants that do not possess the necessary qualifications for direct entry onto the Top-Up programme can complete the EduQual Diploma in Business Management with Douglas Business School.
